Known as one half of the Stavroz quartet, Pieter De Meester teams up with Maxim Helincks to present their third studio album under the alias Shady—a genre-defying, limited edition 12" vinyl LP on A Tribe Called Kotori.

Following their Your Skin EP on Beat & Path, Shady delivers a refreshing mix of spectral pop, electro-infused folk, and offbeat ambient funk, inspired by the likes of Soulwax, Nicolas Jaar, and Connan Mockasin. Each track is a sonic experiment, dancing at the edge of dreamlike pop and leftfield electronics.

The lead track Can I Be Yours opens with ghostly riffs and silky vocals, while Cruisin sways into electro-noir territory. Sun rounds out the EP with a surf-meets-post-punk charm, blending coastal warmth with British cool.
