Stil vor Talent kicks off the new year with an unexpected yet exhilarating twist into indie-pop territory, introducing the genre-bending band project NÖRD with their debut EP Keine Sterne. SVT096 marks a fresh chapter for the label, blending guitar-driven energy with electronic flair and sharp lyrical craftsmanship.

Formed by Berlin-based brothers Paul and Leo Eisenach, and joined by Matthias Wendl on drums and Oded "KD" Kadar on synths and sound design, NÖRD fuse a wild mix of influences—The Beatles, The Police, The Eels, and even underground hip-hop and football—into what they describe as hyperactive pop. The result is a vibrant sound full of catchy hooks, dynamic guitars, quirky synths, and playful German lyrics.

The EP’s title track Keine Sterne and the equally impactful Ich Breche Zusammen introduce their distinctive blend of indie-rock and synth-laced pop. Label head Oliver Koletzki puts his own stamp on Keine Sterne with two versions: a Radio Edit full of electro-pop flair, and a DJ-friendly instrumental remix. Finally, Sascha Braemer & Dan Caster take things deeper, delivering an afterhour-ready reinterpretation that reimagines the original through a minimal techno lens.
